Indigenous vs Colonial

In this section I will be writing posts about how food systems have changed drastically from pre-colonization, up to today.  Human relationships with the environment in the Salish Sea have become unsustainable. Along this vein, I will be discussing the numerous injustices brought upon indigenous communities throughout the long and ongoing process of colonization. These topics have direct links to food systems and how they have changed over time.
